Haydn Jones - Operational efficiency, Telecoms, Bass
Haydn Jones is a Client Managing Director in the London office for a large, global technology company. He is a former Management Consultant, advising and leading on IT Outsourcing and operational efficiency solutions in the Logistics, Commodities, Healthcare and Banking sectors. He has held senior roles in various investment banks supporting cash management, operations, business management and procurement.
He is a graduate of Manchester University, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, FIET, Dip. Law and Bar Finals. He is also a former chair of the City of London Citizen's Advice Bureau and Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.
Musically, Haydn has played in many different bands since acquiring his first bass guitar in 1987. He currently belongs to a small function band, 'The Fatal Noises' who have played in numerous wedding marquees, Claridges, and the Preston Marriott.
Haydn has recorded in Abbey Road, and played live with members of both Pink Floyd and AC/DC. His musical influences are wide and varied, ranging from Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Yes, Rush, to British Seapower and Oceansize. He plays his beloved Rickenbacker 4001 and a Fender jazz bass.
